Nestle invests $100 million in Colombia

Nestle intends to invest $100 million over the next three years in its operations in Colombia, said Colombian President Gustavo Petro, Jan. 28 reports FX Empire.

The investment plan builds on a $13 million investment already made in Colombia by the world’s largest food and beverage producer. The new funds will be used to increase production capacity and upgrade technology.

“The industrialization of Colombia is necessary if we want to get out of poverty,” said Gustavo Petro.
