DIY water water supply

The water supply of a private house is usually carried out according to two schemes. The first option is a dedication to a centralized water supply. Of course, this option is perfect, but, unfortunately, not every house is built near such a water supply. However, if you are lucky, then first you need to contact the organization operating this water supply and get a permit for connection from them, the conditions and attachment scheme are also stipulated.

Typically, this organization is the management of the water supply – sewage channel. For a fee, not small, it should be noted that they will do all the necessary work for you.

When designing water supply, it is always necessary to take into account the possibility of completely disconnecting and withdrawal of water. It is also necessary to make a small slope to the introductory well, which is usually used as a place of connection. External input, valves and pipelines themselves make up a single water supply system.

If the room has a basement or basement, then input is carried out using a case from a pipe through the foundation. In a house without a basement, the entry is made in a case under the foundation.

The diameter of the pipes is at least 20 mm – in the case of plastic and steel pipes. If cast -iron pipes are used, then this is about 50 mm. When laying the pipe, you need to know the depth of freezing and lay it 41, 5 m below this level. By the way, when entering through the foundation, the case has a larger diameter.

Well, if you were unlucky and there was no central water supply nearby, then there is a second way to moisturize the house – a decentralized or local water supply system.

So, this system for the water supply of a frequency house with your own hands includes wells, wells or other water intake structures, pump, external and internal pipelines, as well as a hydropneumatic tank.

To begin with, we take the pump, naturally electric, and install it on the source of the water intake (in water or on pontoon, depending on the type of pump). The main characteristics when choosing a pump are:

– Pressure (in meters) – determines the height to which water can be lifted;

– Performance (m3).

When choosing a pump according to the first criterion, do not forget that the water should rise not only to the first floor, but also on the second and higher if necessary.

If the water source is open and is at a considerable distance from the structure, it is necessary to take into account the possible difference in levels.

After selecting and installing the pump, you need to connect it. The cable can be laid both underground and by air, taking into account the corresponding methods of isolation and choosing the correct section. Do not stretch the cable too much in order to avoid its ruptures in frosty weather.

Now that you can get water yourself, you should think about its accumulation and create a tank, for example, it can be a water tank or a simple barrel. Typically, such a storage is installed in the attic, taking into account the static load on the overlap. If the tank is supplemented with automation to regulate the water supply, the descent and overflow pipeline, then the prices of such a system will not be.

It is advisable to insulate the water tank, otherwise in the cold all the water will turn into ice. Although there is another option – hydropneumatic installation. It is much more convenient, but with interruptions in power supply will create a lot of trouble.

In order to use water in food, it will be necessary to install household filters. And if underground waters sometimes disappear, then you can insure yourself with a water intake for melt and rainwater.

Whatever your home, make sure that it has always been water-source of life. All in your hands. Good luck.
