The water supply of a private house is usually carried out according to two schemes. The first option is a dedication to a centralized water supply. When designing water supply, it is always necessary to take into account the possibility of completely disconnecting and withdrawal of water. When choosing a pump according to the first criterion, do not forget that the water should rise not only to the first floor, but also on the second and higher if necessary.

If the water source is open and is at a considerable distance from the structure, it is necessary to take into account the possible difference in levels.

After selecting and installing the pump, you need to connect it. The cable can be laid both underground and by air, taking into account the corresponding methods of isolation and choosing the correct section. Do not stretch the cable too much in order to avoid its ruptures in frosty weather.

Now that you can get water yourself, you should think about its accumulation and create a tank, for example, it can be a water tank or a simple barrel. Typically, such a storage is installed in the attic, taking into account the static load on the overlap. If the tank is supplemented with automation to regulate the water supply, the descent and overflow pipeline, then the prices of such a system will not be.

It is advisable to insulate the water tank, otherwise in the cold all the water will turn into ice. Although there is another option – hydropneumatic installation. It is much more convenient, but with interruptions in power supply will create a lot of trouble.

In order to use water in food, it will be necessary to install household filters. And if underground waters sometimes disappear, then you can insure yourself with a water intake for melt and rainwater.
